Mr Rodrigues was joined by CBF Vice Presidents Fernando Sarney – one of CONMEBOL’s representatives on the FIFA Council – Marcus Vicente and the former Seleçao forward Bebeto at the meeting, where the FIFA President summarised ideas for national team and club competitions that will be key to football’s advancement.
Mr Infantino was also thanked for FIFA’s support of a range of CBF projects, designed to increase participation opportunities and raise footballing standards across Brazil.
